Setup steps (download & install)

1. Download the package
   Download ISS-Security-Trimming-Quicklinks.sppkg from this link.
2. Open your SharePoint App Catalog
   Go to your tenant’s SharePoint App Catalog site and open Apps for SharePoint.
3. Upload the package
   Click Upload, then select the downloaded `.sppkg` file.
4. Deploy it
   In the dialog that appears, click Deploy. Wait 1–3 minutes for SharePoint to finish making it available.
5. Approve API access (only if you’re asked)
   If SharePoint shows an “API access request” for the solution, approve it in SharePoint Admin Center → API access. If you don’t see a request, you can skip this step.
6. Add it to a page
   Open the SharePoint page where you want it. Click Edit → click + → search Security Trimming Quicklinks → add it. Open the web part settings and add links (Visual editor is the easiest). Publish the page.

When you receive an updated .sppkg file, updates are installed the same way as the initial deployment:

1. Open Apps for SharePoint in your App Catalog.
2. Upload the newer `.sppkg` file.
3. Confirm/Deploy when prompted, then wait a minute or two.
4. Refresh the pages where the web part is used (and clear browser cache if you’re troubleshooting stale assets).
